  Re Choices - Courage!
Description:
April's Theme is Courage *** Nature Kidmittee meets today during Soup Sunday! Kitchen: In preparation for our trip to the Hindu Temple for their Kites & Colors festival on May 6th, Karen Deaton will help us make Hindu treats in the kitchen! We'll learn a little about this popular world religion and make some yummy treats from the Hindu culture to share for Soup Sunday! Studio: Peggy Small is bringing us the first of several ethics workshops! This week - Virtue (Aristotelian) ethics (Suggested age - 3rd grade & up) In this class, we will introduce the concepts of ethics and philosophy. We will read the picture book “A Bike Like Sergio’s,” in which a boy must decide how to do the right thing even when the right thing seems hard or unfair. We will discuss virtue-based ethics and talk about the pros and cons of virtue-based ethics.
