Prairie Unitarian Universalist Society gives half its Sunday Offering to nonprofit organizations in the Madison community to help support their important work in our community. This commitment extends how Prairie UU Society shares our resources to socially important organizations in Madison, WI.

Below are a few of the past quarterly recipients.

The Catalyst Project recognizes parents as their child’s first, and most important, teachers and works to support and partner with parents in this role.

The Tenant Resource Center is a nonprofit, membership organization dedicated to promoting positive relations between rental housing consumers (tenants) and providers (landlords) throughout Wisconsin.

Allied Wellness Center is a neighborhood center with the purpose of promoting health and wellness of the mind, body and spirit of people living in the Allied, Belmar, Dunn’s Marsh neighborhoods. These are all neighborhoods near Prairie UU Society.

Street Pulse Newspaper provides an income and outlet for marginalized Madison residents.
