“Reading the Bible through New Eyes: Case Study; The Great Commission” by Vicar Vica-Etta Henrietta Steel

The Bible is a rich resource that does not lend itself to singular interpretations. In Vicar Vica-Etta Henrietta Steels’ study and work, she endeavors to free the messages and hope in the Bible from the singular dogmas of cis/het male identity theology that has, for too long, shut down conversation. In this talk, she will work toward an understanding of The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16:20) beyond simplistic limits into a fullness rooted in the stories of people in the Bible.
